With several park days located around the county, there's always a
convenient break for students and teachers alike. Visit with friends,
make new ones, play on park equipment, and enjoy games brought from
home. Just make sure the kids are having fun, too! (Tip: Check with
the contact person to verify current dates and times.)

94 east to the end and keep following it and it becomes Jamacha Road and you turn right at the Jack in the Box onto Willow Glen. If coming from El Cajon on Jamacha you turn Left at the Jack in the Box onto Willow Glen then you turn Right on Steele Canyon and the park is on the left just past the grade school.

Meets each Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM, upstairs behind the playground equipment. Facilities include brand new playground equipment, tot lot, sandbox area, jogging path, great areas for kite flying, dog park, shaded picnic area with tables and barbecues, two large multi-play turfed sports fields, horseshoe pits, and rest rooms. We meet at La Mesita Park on Dallas in La Mesa every Friday from 2-5. All ages, everyone is welcome. This is a nice shady park with room for riding bikes, scooters, and skating. There is also a large field for ball games, kite flying or just running around. Contact Linda for more information.

Meets in various N. County Inland area parks once a week. Ages range from 1 month to 13 years old. Our families homeschool in all ways. R-4, Charter and ISP. We are a great mix of all philosophies. We also do a monthly field trip and a Moms Night Out. Parks are announced via email each week.

Friday Afternoon Friends is an informal playgroup that meets year round on (surprise!) Friday afternoons (3:30ish) at various parks in the Encinitas-Cardiff-La Costa-Aviara-South Carlsbad area. In its third year of fun & friendship, FAF is open to all kids regardless of what school or homeschool they attend. Though targeted towards elementary age children (ages 6-10), younger and older siblings & friends are always welcome.
