Everyone loves field trips! Whether they are the starting point for an extended learning experience or the grand finale, they can be wonderful breaks from home study. Businesses typically offer discounts to groups, and you can usually find a group to join. Let us know if you're planning an activity that you want to let other readers know about and we'll post it for you.

free tuesdays at balboa park!
Families can take advantage of free admission to the museums on Tuesdays. As a gift to San Diego residents and visitors, Balboa Park organizations offer free admission on Tuesdays on a rotating basis throughout the month.
